Born in 1937, Bloemfontein, South Africa. Died in 1997. Mostly self taught artist, his chosen medium is pastel on paper and his work is very recognizable as his subject matter focuses on Picasso-like portraits of large faces with huge dark eyes. Painter and sculptor of figures, urban life and abstract pieces. Worked in oil, pencil, pastel, charcoal, bronze and stone. Exhibited in South Africa, Germany, Greece, New York
