Ndlovu, Sipho

Sipho Ndlovu has been painting since 1985. In the late 1980's he exhibited at the Sanderling Art Gallery. In 1989 he had a solo exhibition in the Shell House Art Gallery in Johannesburg. Sipho settled in Cape Town and experimented with various media and techniques. In 1999 he produced a series of four paintings depicting the history of South Africa from the 1800’s to the present day. Judge Albie Sachs bought this work to be part of the public collection of the Constitutional Court. Sipho was commissioned by the Sun International to produce three paintings for the Grand West Casino in Cape Town.
